Business Developer

Location: West Midtown- Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-time | Monday - Friday 
Compensation: $20 per hour

Job Overview

The Business Developer is responsible for bringing in and closing new client business for Xtra Staffing Solutions. This is an outbound, relationship-driven sales role focused on introducing our services to local businesses, generating new job leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.

This role is the front door of our client pipeline. You are responsible for making first contact, building trust, and ensuring potential clients are serious, qualified, and ready before being handed off to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales & Client Outreach

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to local businesses

  • Introduce Xtra Staffing Solutions and our services

  • Educate prospects on how we support their hiring needs

  • Build awareness and visibility for the company in the local market

  • Send follow-up emails and outreach messages to prospects

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Generate new job leads through in-person and digital outreach

  • Book appointments and intro meetings

  • Qualify prospects based on:

    • Hiring needs

    • Budget

    • Urgency

    • Readiness to move forward

  • Ensure leads are serious, interested, and a good fit before handoff

 

Sales Process & Deal Support

  • Guide prospects through the early sales process

  • Set clear expectations around services and next steps

  • Help move conversations toward commitment

  • Close deals or assist in closing through follow-up, relationship-building, and communication

  • Document interactions and maintain lead records

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with in-person, door-to-door outreach

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder

  • Confident in initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers

  • Sales-minded with a consultative approach

  • Organized and able to track outreach and follow-ups

  • Self-motivated and results-driven

  • Prior sales, business development, or staffing experience is a plus (but not required)
